The memes I chose all come from https://knowyourmeme.com. I chose these memes because they all actually bring up an interesting point on how the world views men’s mental health. While these memes are funny, there is a real life stigma around men who suffer from mental health issues. Often times, many men grow up in an environment where they are taught they need be strong, emotionless and cold. Not only could someone’s personal environment impact how they view mental health, but, growing up, many boys are also taught to think the same. This goes hand in hand with gender roles; boys likes blue and girls like pink. I think these memes are actually a good circulation across the internet, while they are funny, they also might force someone to look at how they view mental health and maybe be interested in breaking down these gender stigmas that have been in place for far too long.
